What is Look the Part?

Look the Part® is a mobile app and website that identifies outfits worn in TV shows.  We curate styles that include exact matches and similar products (including cost-effective alternatives) so you can "look the part" of your favorite characters!

Do you have a mobile app?

Yes! Look the Part is currently available on the Apple App Store.

How does it work?

Look the Part's primary discovery platform is our mobile app, "Look the Part". Our app provides a fun, immersive way to shop looks worn and inspired by your favorite characters. It features an interactive newsfeed with posts from recent episodes, a recommendation engine to suggest similar styles, character profiles to shop wardrobes directly, trending products, and the ability to save products and curate custom collections. ​​​

You can also visit our Blog to read editorial content and fashion recaps of select episodes, or join our community on Instagram for more content.

Does it cost money?

Nope! Look the Part is completely free to download and use!

Okay, so how do you make money then?

What TV shows do you cover?

Look the Part tracks fashion and trends from a range of popular tv shows including The White Lotus, Euphoria, Emily in Paris, And Just Like That, Gossip Girl, Love Island USA, The Traitors US, Outer Banks, Riverdale, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and more. We are always looking to expand our offerings, so feel free to suggest new shows!

How do I shop more outfits for a certain character, like Emily Cooper or Belly Conklin?

Great question. Our mobile app is the best resource because it has dedicated profiles for each character. To find a profile: visit the Discover Page to browse by TV Show or use the Characters tab to search the entire character list. We also have a powerful search engine.

Don't have the app? You can visit our Blog for curated content about select shows or visit our Instagram to view highlights for certain characters. (Note: selection on blog and social media is limited compared to our app offerings!)

What if I still can't find what I'm looking for?

Send us an email! We are always happy to fulfill special requests. Just send us the name of the character/show, which item you're looking for, and a screenshot of the outfit (if possible).

Do you identify beauty and home products too?

Sometimes! When relevant, we may include beauty products and home items seen on shows. Much of this is by request - we listen to your feedback and love to spread our focus to the shows and categories you find most valuable. ​​​(For example - we got so many requests about Euphoria bedroom decor that we added a whole new product category to the app!)

Do you sell fashion directly?

Not typically. The vast majority of our product links are to trusted retailers. Occasionally, our stylists may find rare or vintage items that appeared in a show. We may sell those second-hand in our boutique (think of it like our own mini Poshmark!) ​We also sell custom "Look the Part" merchandise if you'd like to support our small business! 🙏🏻​​​

How often is new content added?

We do our best to regularly update the mobile app with new episodes, outfits, and trending styles. We are a small team, so while we do our best to provide content as often as possible, there can be delays. If you're really anxious about a certain outfit - please send us an email or DM on instagram! We are happy to help you with specific requests asap.

Do you identify men's fashion or outfits from male characters?

Unfortunately, not yet! But we have heard your feedback and are working towards including this in our platform in the future. Until then, we are happy to continue fielding direct requests for our male audience! Just send us an email (or DM us on Instagram) with the character name, episode number, and a screenshot from the show.  You can also sign up for the Men's Edition Waitlist and be the first to know when there are updates!
