How to steal Kristin's farmhouse style - for a fraction of the cost!

Viewers of E!'s Very Cavallari got a firsthand look into Kristin's enviable Nashville farmhouse each week. The Uncommon James founder incorporates many of the chic elements from her brand into her own home - and we are here to talk details! From (faux) marble countertops to discounted brass hardware, we've found cost-conscious ways to introduce farmhouse elements into your own space - without breaking the bank!
The Kitchen
As the author of TWO different cookbooks, it's no surprise that Kristin's kitchen is an absolute chef's haven. From the gorgeous granite countertops to the 8-burner stove and a built-in cutting board across the one end of the island, Kristin knows how live (and cook!) in style.
While a gut renovation to achieve this level of function is pricey, we found a few budget-friendly options to help you gain this aesthetic! Keep reading to find out to grab Kristin's farmhouse style on your own terms!

Marble Finishes
One of the obvious staples of Kristin Cavallari's design aesthetic is a marble finish. Her Uncommon James Home collection features everything from marble salt & pepper shakers to coasters, but her house is also outfitted in this beautiful texture. In the image below, you can see a close up of the backsplash in her kitchen.

Throughout her home, you'll continue to see matching marble-esque and granite finishes on countertops and even the console table in her living room walkway.
Marble and granite are expensive: both in material and what it would cost to renovate your surfaces. Luckily, we found the perfect renovation hack! PEEL AND STICK! That's right, you can use this waterproof granite/marble print to bring this same aesthetic to every area of your life! In your kitchen, bathroom, or even to "refinish" your vanity or bookshelf. This versatile wonder is available on Amazon starting at just $5.99! With over 30k positive reviews, we'd say it's a sure winner.
Brass Hardware
While Kristin tends to favor copper when designing her UJ Home collection, her kitchen is noticabley outfitted with brass hardware. From her farmhouse sink to the handles on her cabinets and refrigerator, she isn't afraid to mix metals into her space.
Her cabinet pulls favor an industrial twist, so we'd recommend hardware with pipe connector details like the ones seen in the background of the first image above. We found similar styles below, such as the 12-5/8-in handles ($11.15, Lowe's) or the 8-in handle on the bottom right ($16.78, Lowe's).
For more of a classic modern look, these pull bars below are available in 7 finishes for your custom needs ($8.99 on Wayfair).Note: Show below in "Golden Champagne" finish. Also, these are commonly on sale for up to 50% off!
Black Cast Iron Hardware
Kristin's TDF walk-in closet (which, let's face it, is bigger than pretty much every NYC apartment I've ever lived in) boasts a ton of black and white detail. Most notable is the black hardware on the cabinet doors and the curtain rod over the window.

Wayfair has a huge selection of black farmhouse-inspired handles, sold as singles (with some styles starting as low as $3.27) and in value packs of 10 or more depending on your needs. Inspired by Kristin's decor, we love these black pull bar options (left and center). But if you are working with more drawers than cabinets, we also recommend these modern crescent drawer pulls (see far right images, starting at just $24.99/10-pack).
Neutral Accent Colors
Another non-negotiable? Kristin loves her white walls to use as a backdrop for decorating and pops of color (like her awesome couch!)

Rather than paint your entire house white, which is costly and can easily look washed out, focus on an off-white accent color that will provide warmth and depth to your room. As you can see in the sample photo, this silky white color by Behr adds dimension to the staircase and spindles without costing a fortune to do the entire room. (Specific color shown below is Behr #PPU7-12 Silky White Urethane Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel Interior/Exterior Paint. $35.98/gallon at Home Depot.)
Pretty Prints
If your farmhouse aesthetic is more rustic than modern, you can always opt for a pretty wallpaper in the bedroom or on smaller surface area, such as a bathroom wall. Developed by fellow reality TV star, Joanna Gaines, these peel-and-stick options come in a variety of gorgeous prints to suit any palette or room. These DIY wonders allow you full control and customization - and the chance to change your mind! Available now at Home Depot ($46.99/roll).
Accessories
If neutral accents are more your speed, you can also add details such as these vintage-inspired cast iron hooks ($16.99/set of 4, Amazon) and white-washed curtain rod ($29.99, Bed Bath & Beyond) to spruce up the farmhouse feel without redoing any of your cabinets.
