Our favorite looks from Season 5, Episode 3 of Emily in Paris! This episode showcased Emily in several bold prints from iconic Italian fashion houses Versace and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as lesser known Italian brand Antica Sartoria. But the most important storyline happened when she wasn’t hiding behind statement prints and structured jackets - the true intimacy she formed with Marcello. In a touching scene after Mindy’s performance, Emily (in a beautiful Huishang Zhang ensemble) finally opened up to Marcello - and to us as an audience. Getting a glimpse into her upbringing and motivations put into perspective what’s been driving her forward all of these years. How she became the Emily who always puts in 110% and never lets the people around her give up.
There were many reasons this felt like the best season yet. Yes, the fashion. But also that after 5 seasons the audience is still getting to know our protagonist and form a deeper connection with her. Mostly by watching her gain a deeper understanding of herself ❤️

Emily's Green and Gold Cut-Out Dress & Jacket
This season 5, Episode 3 look worn by Lily Collins is anchored by a matching jade jacquard dress and jacket from designer Huishan Zhang'sAutumn/Winter 2025 collection. The strong lines mixed with feminine details (bow front closure, cutout neckline) created a romantic yet sophisticated look for Emily’s night out. Paired with eye-catching multicolor crystal sandals by Aquazurra and a slicked back flipped-ends hairstyle by Mike Desir, Emily’s evening stroll with Marcello looked more like a runway!

Emily's Striped Sweater & Sunglasses Print Top
There is a certain “je ne sais quoi” about this look that we fell in love with the moment we saw it. It’s soft, playful, feminine and really speaks to where we find Emily at the end of Season 5, Episode 3. It’s also another one of those moments that fascinate me about Costume Designer Marylin Fitoussi’s artistry. Her ability to meaningfully mix prints in order to create a cohesive look is really unique. It looks effortlessly elegant onscreen, so we can only imagine how much work and sourcing went into every detail behind the scenes.
