Schitt's Creek: Halloween Costume Inspired by Moira Rose

Few characters in recent memory have approached personal style with the commitment of Moira Rose. Her Schitt’s Creek wardrobe was an unapologetic parade of monochrome black-and-white, sculptural statement jewelry, feathers, dramatic hats, avant-garde silhouettes and - of course - an entire supporting cast of wigs. The result is a Halloween costume that can be as simple or gloriously excessive as you want it to be, so long as subtlety is nowhere on the agenda.


This year, dressing as Moira also carries a little more meaning. Following Catherine O’Hara’s passing in January 2026, revisiting the character feels like a fitting tribute to the actress who made Moira’s wonderfully bizarre fashion sensibility so unforgettable. So pile on the feathers, choose your most commanding necklace, introduce your wig by name, and remember: when it comes to Moira Rose, more is almost certainly more.
